Indemnity Health Insurance Plan

The indemnity health insurance plan requires the policy holder to make payment for a deductible sum annually. Normally, the deductible costs $200 annually. In addition to the annual deductible, you have to pay for a percentage of the medical fee. You are allowed see any doctor you want. After seeing a doctor, you must submit the bill to the insurance company. The insurance company will only pay for the health insurance plan after they meet the deductible.

After you have paid the deductible, you must pay the copayment. The copayment is a percentage of the remaining charges after the deductible amount is deducted from it. If the insurance company requires you to pay 30% of copayment, you will have to pay $240 before the insurance company will pay for the rest of the fee.
